Thorpeness Hotel, Apartments and Golf Club

The Thorpeness Hotel is a unique venue on the Suffolk Coast, close to Aldeburgh in the charming little town of Thorpeness. Originally built in the 1920's, Thorpeness Hotel, Apartments and Golf Club retains the atmosphere of a time gone by coupled with modern facilities. The hotel offers 36 rooms, some overlook the Meare, gardens or golf course. There are two bars, a restaurant, a drawing room, a snooker room and a library. The famous 18 hole golf course is popular and playable all year round. Built over gorse and heather countryside it is a challenge for even the experienced golfer. Close to Thorpeness beach there are twelve self catering apartments and houses sleeping from two to ten guests. All are individually furnished to a four star standard.
