Can ballet flats be flattering for WIDE feet?

I have very wide feet (not fat, just wide) that are also flat. I really want to find a cute pair of ballet flats that don't make my feet look like swamp-man feet - does anybody know of a good make and model of a good shoe for me? I've tried the wide width versions at payless and a few at DSW, but none of them were slimming. Note that the regular width shoes fit just fine and are comfortable - I just couldn't find any that were flattering.

i have rather wide feet... go to payless shoe stores and get a few of those american eagle flats (their not ballet flats... but the are flats... ) and im sating american eagle because they can get wide... and can run a little big... not because i like the company lol
