ideas how to keep a 2 1/2 year old busy?

im babysitting a 4- yr old girl nd a 2 1/2 yr old boy this weekend at a hotel. i can think of a million things to do, but the problem is tht we're not exactly in a hotel room, we're in the lobby-ish...kinda outside the meeting room, so tht limits things to do. i was thinking of bringing the laptop nd bringing a movie, maybe some toy cars for the boy and some barbie dolls and crayons for the girl. but what else? plz help mee!!!!! THANK U!!

at 2.5 he will probably play with anything he has not seen before. I would have a grab bag of just random stuff for him to dump, put back and play with. He will aslo play with the dolls I would be careful with crayons as he may get upset if he cannot use them and may pitch a fit in the lobby. Do not let 1 have something if the other cannot.
