my apperance is overtaking my career?

hello my name is Coco this is my real name and im 21 and have successfully graduated from university from training to become a Secondary school P.E teacher. recently i have been looking for jobs around my local area in newcastle, but my friends and family say because i look like "barbie" i will not find a job. basically i have bleach blonde hair, tanned, nails done, wear a ton of make-up and like wearing girly clothing you get the idea. But personally i don't see a problem in that i go to the gym and keep fit i have a great body which looks good as my job is required to keep fit and healthy. plus my name is a turn off apparently but that's is not my fault but can people judge you on getting a job on the way you look and your name?

Prove them wrong. Your family were hoping you'd become an adult movie star though. Otherwise they wouldn't have called you Coco.

You'll do fine in whatever you chose to do. You work hard in the gym, that's not the only requirement for teaching kids but I'm sure you know that.
