Trying to find out what type of Barbie I have here.. It takes batteries and has two openings in the back...?

There are two openings on the back directly next to each other. Then a battery compartment right under it. In the openings are two metal prongs. I have no idea what she does or what goes in there. We got her at a yard sale. If I could make it work it could be cool for my little girl.
It is dated 1999 on the back. Can anyone help?

Sounds like a Barbie Swan Lake. We got one xmas 2003; it says "1999" on it though and is just like you described. She has large clear plastic "wings" than pop into the slots. The wings then have a slider that makes them go up and down. The batteries make the wings light up. You might be able to find a new one on ebay but it's not worth it for a garage sale barbie. Besides, the darn wings fell off all the time and the girl would have to sort of hold them in place. Rent the Barbie Swan Lake video from the library. Barbie gets turned into a swan by a evil sorcerer.
