Whats the cheapest way to send items from ebay? Wrap, bag, box?

I have a number of items which i need to send off to poeple who have won my items (apprx 20) - what will be the cheapest way to send them? Many are just clothes.

Would it be best to wrap them in brown paper? Send in a bag or box? Bearing in mind the cost to actually buy the wrapping stuff.

Im thinking brown paper? How do you usually send yours?
