Dream Analysis - bear chasing me and biting hand and I was throwing bottles at it?

Last night I had a dream that a black bear was chasing me and my family. My husband and children went into one room and closed the door and I went into the next room, but the door wouldn't close - the bear pushed the door open and bite my hand - he didn't cause any damage though and I was able to pry his teeth from my hand - this happened twice and then he went outside. I was looking at him from inside and was throwing bottles at him to make him go away. Then I saw one of my daughters walking around the corner with her kitten in her arms, who has been missing for about two weeks now, and she saw the bear and quietly backed up so to not disturb him.

Your life is feeling out of control, and you feel isolated from your family. Your family shutting the door on you is indicative that you feel that they aren't sufficiently concerned with your happiness or well being and when you successfully fended for yourself you immediately addressed the safety of your children. You may be suffering for their sakes, and this has caused quite a bit of dissonance in you.
