What are the rules for attacking specific body parts in dungeons and dragons?

I remember seeing a table in a dnd book with rules for performing specific actions in combat such as attacking specific body parts. I think it was DMG II but i'm not sure. If you know what book it's in please tell, a page number would also be helpful

The current system doesn't allow the "called shot" that you are looking for. There are sundering rules, but these only allow certain things to be sundered. Usually it is weapons, shields, hydra heads, etc... I could be wrong being that there are well over 100 3.5 books out there, but I don't believe they let you single out a body part in any of the books. You may even want to look at the faq on the D&D website. They may have something on there.
