Lalaloopsy Remains a Top 10 Christmas Toy for 2011

Those creative minds at MGA Entertainment haven't just been resting on their laurels since last Christmas.  Their very popular Lalaloopsy line of dolls, all of which were fervently sought after by young girls everywhere in 2010, has greatly expanded during just the first few months of 2011.  The new dolls and accessories have been very well received by Lalaloopsy enthusiasts, and it looks like the popularity of these dolls will stay strong through Christmas of 2011.

Several new characters have been added to this well beloved line of dolls.  For the budding environmentalist, there's Blossom Flowerpot, whose outfit was sewn from the scraps of gardeners gloves.  For the young dance enthusiast there's Tippy Tumbelina, whose outfit was sewn from the scraps of a ballerina's tutu.  For young girls who dream of becoming marine biologists, there's Marina Anchors, whose outfit was sewn from the scraps of a sailor's uniform.

For the young girl who loves magic and mysticism, there's Sahara Mirage, whose outfit was sewn from the scraps of a genie's veil.  And last, but certainly not least, there's the very first boy Lalaloopsy doll, Patch Treasure Chest, whose clothes were sewn from the scraps of a pirate's uniform.  Patch is perfect for all fans of swashbuckling adventure.

In addition to the full sized Lalaloopsy characters, there's also a specialty Easter Lalaloopsy mini doll named Cotton Hoppalong, whose outfit was sewn from the scraps of a pair of bunny slippers.  But MGA Entertainment hasn't just limited themselves to creating new characters.  They've also come out with new fashion packs such as the Swimsuit Fashion Pack, the Pajama Fashion Pack, and the Red Party Dress Fashion Pack.  They've also introduced adorable pencil toppers of several of the Lalaloopsy dolls and their pets.

Two of the pets of the Lalaloopsy dolls have even been made into plush dolls complete with their own accessories.  Jewel Sparkles' little pet persian cat and Crumbs Sugar Cookie's little pet mouse can now be cuddled and played with like any other stuffed animal.  They have interchangeable ears, tails, and eyes, and come with appropriate wearable accessories.

There are certain to be many more wonderful innovations coming from the world of Lalaloopsy in the coming months.  Enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the brand new Lalaloopsy dolls and accessories that are sure to be coming out, so interest is bound to remain very high throughout the 2011 holiday season.  Once again it seems that these adorable dolls will be very high on the Christmas lists of young ones everywhere, and we may even expect to once again see shortages.  Parents of young Lalaloopsy fans may want to consider doing their holiday shopping as early as possible in order to find the one doll at the top of their children's wish lists.

Expect these dolls to fly off the shelves as soon as they're stocked and plan accordingly.  Those who are diligent and keep their wits about them can expect to see happy faces on Christmas morning.

Trying to find a porcelain doll.......HELP?!?

There was this porcelain doll I saw when I was younger, and she was so cute. I still remember her face. But not her brand. She had short, straight brown hair, with sad brown eyes, and was holding a tan long eared small stuffed bunny under her arm. She was a normal sized porcelain doll. And she wore a dress. Please someone, do you know the brand or something about her? I would really like to maybe find her, for some strange reason. Thanks!

Go there and scroll down until you see "Expressions older child to teens...then look for doll named Jenny 1 (Everday Jenny) and see if she is the one you are looking for. If so I know there are dolls made by Effner on Ebay. Also try googling Diane Effner as she makes several other dolls that look like Jenny
