am a gal i don't trust this guy i like any more i called him a gal answered his phone his he cheating on?

we are both busy and a little bit far from each other,we talk on phone and he a pologises whenever he doesnt pick my phones, he wanted us to go out on a date,he has not called for the past three days ever since that gal picked his phone i called him twice after incidence and he dint call back before he would call back after the first call,he lives with relatives can it be one of his relatives,the gal just said he is in shower she dint ask me who i was or anything ,he sounded like a caring gentle man,i wanted to go out with him,now am thinking twice should i forget about him because he has found another gal but am not sure since i thought if the gal was his new girlfriend she would have asked me whom i was or got mad at me but as she said was he is in shower,ealier that day we talked so well so i dont know what happened within hours.Should i forget about him. so please adivice on what to do am confused
