It was until not long ago that the opening dance in the important Vienna ball still meant the first step into the social cases for the young people of the upper class.

Nowadays, all young men and women from all walks of life come to balls just to have fun. Usually an official will make a speech for the beginning, and there will be no exception that the first dance will be waltz, which is perfectly acted by the new generation. When the beginning dance finishes, the emcee will make the announcement:" Everyone dances waltz". Then, the rest of the guests step into the ballroom and it becomes the arena of the guests. In the main dance hall the dances go on until dawn and every one enjoys the Waltz. However, in the small ballroom, where is probably reverberated with modern dance music, may be jazz, tango, or may be disco or leisure music.

“Oh how the day is replete with the heat of beautiful sunshine! For now the sun, the stars, the moon, and all that which only the eye can see are among the innovative creations!” The gleaming sun warmed young Crystal’s hands; the hands that before time ceased to exist; the hands that seemingly only now accompanied the beautiful woman. They were hands of beauty, and nothing else. The new-fangled splendor that surrounded Crystal was beyond her furthest imagination; for she had no imagination.
“I want to yell out in the air ‘From which vine did I breed? From which star did the origin of my life begin? Why is my existence in this world necessary?” This was a dazzling situation. A great mystery engulfed me.

Crystal is obviously in question of her origin, it seems at an ultimate level. Not as if she wants to know who her parents are or what town she was born in, but why does she exist, and who created her.

She seems to be in awe of the beautiful sun, glistening on a wonderfully hot day. She also mentions celestial bodies. She is in conflict with spiritual and physical (line 2 - all that which only the eye can see are amone innovative creations). Ironically, the beautiful sun WARNED her beautiful hands. "new fangled splendor was beyond her furthest imagination". This is a good clue. What's new about her situation? "she had no imagination". What human being doesn't have an imagination? We may say that about people, but everyone has one. The last paragraph is powerful. She must have been transformed to a woman from some other kind of being. I could be wrong, but the clues point to that. Either that, or she is a really poetic person.
