For those who have dish network how do I set passwords during a recording?

People in my family keep stopping my recordings how do I set passwords so they can't stop it?

My name is Ray Calo with DISH Network. You can't setup a password to prevent anyone from stopping the recording. You can set passwords for the receiver to block channels, ratings, etc. Any time they try to change channels from the TV where to recording is taking place, they are given the option to either continue to recording or stop it.

The only other option would be to record at your TV if you are not watching a program when the timer is set. I hope this helps.
