why Is there black residue stuff on the Barbie Basics doll andthe inside of the package?
My wife is a big collector of Barbie and she has two Barbie Basics dolls number one and three. There is some black residue stuff on her shoulder and also on the inside of the package. It is not black fuzz believe me she was inspecting it ALL NIGHT. Please help because she has taken them back to the store and got new ones but the issue remains.
Does anyone else have this issue with any of their Barbie's??? HELP PLEASE!!
It's just some grease. The quality control has gone down, and it's no longer removed from all of the dolls during production. You can wipe it with a baby wipe and it will come off the doll. Of course, that doesn't do you any good if you are collecting the dolls and not removing them from the packages. The best thing to do in this case is not to return them to the store, but to contact Mattel directly and get them to ship you out a replacement doll, they will make sure that the black residue is removed.
