What paints are good for painting Dollfie eyes?

I'm planning to get a small BJD (NEO-EB / Light skin from Volks USA, specifically), and I'm trying to figure out what paints would be ok to paint the eyes on with (and or rule out brands that won't work). I know I shouldn't use craft paint, but I don't really want to buy big tubes of artist acrylic paint for the tiny amount I actually need to paint her eyes on (though I guess I'll have to if I can't find anything else). ***Therefore, my question is: Are there any paints that work well for this purpose but don't cost so much/come in smaller amounts? Also, would glossy paint be better, or matte paint? I'm having trouble finding any information about painting the actual eyes on instead of just doing its make-up, so any information would help!

You could get a cheap beginner's kit of acrylics with small tubes. I would use matte and then after that's dry maybe use a bit of acrylic gloss medium just where I wanted on the eyes.

You might be able to find tiny acrylics in the children's art section of a craft shop or even in an acrylic paint-by-number set.
