Are dollfie dolls plastic, like barbies?

I wanted to get one but i didn't want to waste too much money. : / so it would help if you could tell me and if you actually bought one please mention that. I would like to know if :
they are fragile... no sort of yes yes, VERY
if their worth the work to put the eyes in the head
etc.
if you have any other things that would be cool, share

please NO MEAN COMMENTS if you have one you may say... go buy a doll for a cheaper price, but nothing too mean

As for the material they are made out of, It isn't plastic, like a barbie, but resin, which is a more durable type of plastic, in the plastic family.

as for durability, surprisingly, the bigger ones are more fragile. They aren't really that fragile, but I WOULD NOT want to drop one. If you drop one, more than likely nothing would happen, but there is a chance that their face makeup could get scuffed, depending on the surface they fall on. The nose and fingers are the easiest to break, but me being a klutz, I have dropped mine wayyy more than I should, and they are fine... Do as I say, not as I do...

I am not quite sure what you mean about putting the eyes in, but the eyes are extremely easy to put in and take out...
