My son wants disney princess dolls for his birthday?

My son is three going to be four next week and wants this set of disney princess dolls for his birthday. His mother and I took him to the disney store and asked him to show us somethings he would want for his birthday and the only thing he wants is this set. We spent a half hour seeing if there was anything else but no this is the only thing he wants, we even took him to another store and he still kept asking for this set. Well we have talked about it and aren't sure if we should get it for him or not, so I said i'd ask on here. So should we get it for him? Please no rude answers

Would you be asking this question if you had a little girl who wanted toy trucks?

Before he gets older and starts taking dolls to school, I'd suggest explaining to him that not all little boys like dolls and they may tease him for it. But there's no reason for you to discourage it either. I remember eons ago when I was in second grade, there was a little boy who LOVED Barbies, he was always playing with the little girls. And when we were in high school, he was the most well mannered, sweetest, and yes...straight boy in school.

I see nothing wrong with getting a four-year-old princess dolls if that's what he wants.
