Hollywood produced number types of genre movie and drama is one of them. A Drama movie depends mostly on in-depth character development, interaction, and highly emotional themes. In a good drama film, the audience is able to experience what other characters are feeling and identify with someone. A dramatic film shows us human beings at their best, their worst, and everything in-between. It is probably the largest film genre because they include a broad spectrum of films like crime films, melodramas, epics (historical dramas), biopic (biographical), or romantic genres.
Some well-known drama films include The Godfather (1972), The Shawshank Redemption (1994), Nell (1994), Schindler's List (1993), and As Good as It Gets (1997). Drama films have been nominated frequently for the Academy Award more than any other film genre. All films can include dramatic elements like comedies, action films, and horror movies, but typically films considered drama films focus mainly on the drama of the main issue.
'Citizen Kane' (1941) : Citizen Kane is an innovative, breathtakingly cinematic character study, and Orson Welles is unforgettable in the role of the wealthy, powerful newspaper magnate Charles Foster Kane.
'The Godfather' Collection : In this movie, the trilogy is a showcase for the acting talents of Al Pacino, and who can forget Marlon Brando's towering performance in the first film? In these movies, Francis Ford Coppola gave us a memorable portrait of mob life, and I love the lines, "Leave the gun. Take the cannoli."
'Schindler's List' (1993) : The film tells the tale of how 1100 Jews were saved through the efforts of Oskar Schindler. During the movie's epilogue, I always find myself choking back tears.
