Gifting a Stuffed Animal, is this decent?

Is a 12" stuffed animal too small for a present? Or should i find a bigger one? Or is it just right?
I don't know about sizes of stuffed animals, but i'm ordering this one online and if it's just right i'll have it delivered right now. I've been seeing 8 inch animals but they're too small and not really going for anything 20"+
