M Audio Trigger Finger doesnt want to work?!?

I plug in my Trigger finger USB MIDI Controller and my computer makes the DING DING! noise. but thats it...i installed the drivers that came with it and it still wont work in ANY program

sounds like the driver is not loaded right did you read the right way to load the driver some thing you must load the driver before you plug it in or it will not load the driver right
