who made german gas masks during world war 2?

I have a german gas mask. It says bmw on it but bmw doesn't say anything about it.

Bavarian Motor Works - BMW (yes the car maker) made them.

BF Goodrich (who makes tires now) made US gas masks during that time.

A lot of companies made many items that you wouldn't think of.
