Would it be wise to get breast reduction surgery if you want to have kids later?

Well I'm 18 and I'm sporting DDD going on F's and the strain is killing me. I want to get the procedure done but I'm worried that if I have kids will they just end up getting bigger again? I really don't want to have to go through two breast reduction surgeries. But any thoughts? Has anyone else considered this?

This is definitely a problem many women face.

I'd say, the first step in this is to lose weight. I'm not saying your overweight, because I do not know how much you weigh, but losing any weight will reduce your breast size. Most doctors will have you do this before surgery anyway so that the skin is easier to work with and stretched out. At least lose 10lbs. and if you are overweight, then lose as much as you can to get to a normal weight.

Then... in terms of having kids... your breasts will grow again. Also, depending on what kind of procedure you do, you might not be able to breast feed after the surgery, so look into that as well if you think breast feeding would be important to you.

The surgery makes a big difference in a lot of people's lives, makes a very positive difference, but it is a surgery and of course shouldn't be taken lightly. Do all you can to be in as best shape as possible before going under the knife, and if you feel like you just can't live this way any longer, then get the surgery to enjoy your life as much as you can, and then deal with whatever consequences childbearing has on you later, when it is relevant to do so.
