What is the opening "lid" on a grand piano called?

On a grand piano, there is that "lid" on the majority of the piano, with the exception of the keys. It opens up to be at about a 45 degree angle, with a "rod" to keep it open, and you can see the strings inside the piano upon opening the lid.
I was just curious, what is the technical term for this part of the grand piano?

It's simply called the "lid." No fancy term for it.
