If you have an excess of acrylic paint, purchase a few clear glass ornaments at your craft store. Pour a few drops of several colors of the paint in through the hole at the top of the ornament, cover the hole with your thumb and shake until you get the desired finish. If there are clear spots, add more paint and shake again. Allow these ornaments to dry before hanging on the tree.

 

If you make these ornaments this year and store them carefully, you can add even more hand made ornaments next year. In a few years, you will have a tree that is uniquely yours as it is decorated with ornaments you made yourself.

-if you have those glass ball ornaments hanging on your christmas tree you may want to remove them when your children or pets are around the tree this year, they are known to fall off the christmas tree on there own leaving small pieces of glass fragments on the floor cutting the children or pets.,

Yes, I am aware of this. Actually, we do have these ornaments.. but we have no pets and my son is only 3.5 months old. Next year we aren't going to hang those. Best Wishes!
