Our tartan love affair deepens

1. The story so far...
Ever since Agyness Deyn sashayed down the catwalk clad head-to-toe in neon tartan for Henry Holland, the plaid revival has been unstoppable. Dolce & Gabanna and Just Cavalli swiftly jumped on the band waggon and it wasn't long before tartan hit the home. Think Dutch design guru Marcel Wanders' hot pink Audrey wallpaper. Now everyone's getting in on the action, re-inventing the traditional pattern in fresh colour ways and unusual applications. 2. Have a Highland fling

Is this just the topshop collection or are they the trends???

Don't you think you ought to have an actual interest in fashion to apply for such a job? I doubt you'll get it if you can't name them off the top of your head like clicking your fingers.

Pick up a Vogue, an Elle, make you're assumptions.
If you're too lazy, then go to Vogue's website and it'll tell you.

There are way too many trends to have three main ones, however, I would guess at the "thigh high boot" being a major one, as is most probably the shoulder-pads (aka "the big/power shoulder"), seeing as they've been featured on nearly every catwalk from Balmain to Galliano. The third could quite possibly be black and red worn together, or the material velvet.
