The Hip-hop Culture Clothing Is For Open-minded People
The hip-hop culture clothing, in today’s world, is the most fashionable kind of clothing worn around the world. Although this kind of culture might seem to be like an All-American idea, it was actually inspired by African culture. This is the reason why, when we say hip-hop and alternative clothing, the first image that comes to our mind are black people with oversized shirts and jeans.
Hip-hop clothing is also known as street or urban clothing. It takes its name from the music genre that symbolized personal expression as well as a going against mainstream music.
Hip-hop clothing usually features huge accessories, known as bling-blings, basketball caps and t-shirts that are at least a size or two bigger. These shirts could come either as plain basketball jerseys or could feature some witty lines that expresses the wearer’s feelings or opinions.
Culture and street clothing is not just about the hip-hop world, however. Skating clothes also fall under culture clothing. As the name implies, this clothing style can usually be seen in people engaged in skateboarding. Although most people think that wearing worn out shoes and torn jeans make for skating clothes, the opposite is what’s true. Since these clothing style is used by skaters, worn out shoes and torn jeans are actually not recommended.
Punk as well as Goth clothing style can also be considered as culture clothing. Goth clothing usually comes in a form of black clothes inspired by the Victorian era. Punk clothes, on the other hand, are characterized by purposively torn shirts and outright offending designs. Leather jackets are also a staple punk clothe.
In essence culture and street clothing is man’s boldest attempt at self-expression. It aims to make the wearer stand out and be heard. Regardless whether it’s Goth, punk, hip-hop or skater clothes, the objective is still the same- a standing out from the norms that people have been used to.
Today, there is no need for you to go underground in order to find a culture clothing seller. Ever since this clothing style has gone main stream, a number of stores located in malls as well as online have been selling them making it easier for you to get your hands on them.

Do you think hip hop and punk are similar in a lot of ways?
I mean "real" hip hop and "real" punk (not poser shit)
Both have...
an anti-establishment attitude
are pretty simple musically
usually concered more about the lyrics
have simliar topics in lyrics (old school hip hop more obviously)
both are pretty much dead now and have inspired poser bands (blink 182, lil wayne)
so what do you think?
Maybe a bit in ideology, but musically...no. Simplicity and lyrical importance aren't enough to say they're similar.
