Where can I buy a decently priced Asian ball jointed doll?

My friend and I are very interested in collecting them, however, we're both, um... How do I put this lightly? Not made of money.

The ones we have been looking that only ship the head without a face-up, body, eyes, hair and clothes. Costing well over 600 dollars. We're kind of hoping for a price around 450 to 500, if that's possible.

So if anyone knows of site or a place where we can get "cheaper" dolls, please let us know.

Dollzone sells full sets (doll, wig, face-up, outfit) for about...I want to say $625 or so for the 60cm dolls. Of course if you buy just the doll it costs less. Bobobie also sells cheaper dolls. You might want to take a look at Den of Angels and look for the list of sellers to see if any of them appeal to your tastes and price range. Also, if you're willing to buy second-hand, consider looking on eBay, Junky Spot, and the marketplace sections of Resinality and Den of Angels. Just remember that the marketplaces on those forums require you to have made a certain number of posts and to have been a member for a certain number of days before you can access them.

You could also consider looking at small dolls. 43cm dolls are generally less expensive that 60cm dolls. Unless your doll is a very odd size, you can shop for clothes and wigs on places like Dollmore and Mimiwoo (sometimes it gets listed as the Mimi Collection) and expect them to fit your doll as long as you get them from the right size category. You can also learn how to make clothes -- I personally would never buy a doll kimono, simply because I can make them myself for much cheaper than I see them in the shops, and buy making them myself I know they're exactly what I'm looking for. And when all else fails...well, most of the doll community isn't made of money either. We save up for our dolls. Yeah, it can take a while, but I personally think it's better to take some extra time and buy the doll you really love than to buy one you're not that into just because it's cheaper and you can get it right now (of course, should the cheaper doll also be the doll you really love, there's no reason to wait :p).
