But one thing that you need to remember is that you need not to overload the machine especially with small towels or clothes. These may cause excessive wears on the bed sheets and may damage them prematurely. Overloading may also affect the machine and it may not be able to wash the sheets the efficiently.

After washing the bed sheets, you need to dry them up of course. In drying the sheets, you have to set the dryer in its lowest temperature. Too much heat may damage the cloth and may fade the colors of the sheets. Dry the sheets slowly and carefully. Also, you need to take them out while they are still damp and air dry them. It is one great way to preserve the smoothness of the sheets and to avoid wrinkles to just occur.

 

STORE THEM CORRECTLY

 

You have to find a place where the sheets can be stored safely. It must be cool, dark and dry. Avoid areas where the sun shines directly. This may dry up and stiffen the sheets. What you can also do is to make use of a bag where you can put the bed sheets with similar colors. This will ensure that vibrant colors will remain as they are. It is one good way to organize bed sheets at home.
