Josee Koning, who first fell in love with Samui last year while staying at X2 Resort, appears in Samui courtesy of X2 Resort Samui who is sponsoring her stay in Thailand and offering the ultimate opportunity to enjoy up close and personal with one of Europe’s finest Jazz Divas.   

Josee has always had a passion for Brazilian music and is well known for her interpretation of the “Musica Popular Brasileira”, not only in the Netherlands but also in Brazil. She began her career in the 1980’s and has been working with a wonderful selection of Brazil’s finest musicians since 1995. Her latest album Bem Brasiliero, nominated for a prestigious Edison Award, was recorded in Rio Di Janeiro and Sao Paulo with the sublime musicians of the famed Nosso Trio.

Josee Koning performs live in person at X2 Resort Samui from Tuesday the 9th of June to Saturday the 13th of June from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm each evening. Jazz Performance and Three Course Dinner with complimentary X2 Cocktail - 750 Thai Baht (reservations recommended). Who was/is more superior in terms of: 1)Mic Skills 2)Ring Skills 3)Gimmick 4)Charisma

1. Mic Skills - Mickie Pwns this round. Jazz's promos always seemed like she had just memorised it moments before going out. Mickies are always filled with emotion.

2. Ring Skills - Jazz was a powerhouse wrestler, but she could also wrestle very technically. But I still give the edge to Mickie as Jazz could not do the highflying feats performed by MJ.

3. Gimmick - Jazz's "The Bitch is Black" gimmick was pretty damn good. It was both unique & risque. But no gimmick is unique, nor risque as MJ's Psycho days, which she deliverd with perfection. If it was judgin currnrt gimmicks, I would say Jazz, but otherwise Mickie wins again.

4. Charisma - As you can judge by the huge pops she gets from entering the arena, Mickie is brimming with charisma. Jazz, not really.
