Hi i have to conduct a mini observation for 10 mins, of a group of individuals and record facial expressions but i do not know how to write it out and explain it. do i write pollys eyes started to waterup and her mouth quivered then sam ... then ben ... the polly .. how can i write it out.

I'm not entirely sure how to go about helping you with this because your question is a bit vague but I'll give it a whirl.

Example:
If you are recording expressions in a graveyard (I know, weird, but just go with me on this) I would make a list.
I.E.
Crying
Happy
Sad
Angry
Tear Eyed
Etc

and go from there and just tick off what you see.
I would make these categories into columns and do the rows as observees. So Observee 1, Observee 2, etc. I would also record gender. so I would make it look something like this:

and just fill in the blanks as needed
