I have a bass guitar and I want to paint it?

Hey , I have a behringer bass guitar white plating + black body and white wooden neck , I kinda want it all black ... so how do I do this ? I mean I will only remove the white plating and the neck so I don't have to play with the circuits . Sandpaper them and then spray paint or could I just use those paint cans that u paint panes / ship miniatures with?

you should buy a black pick gaurd @ your music store..that's the EASIEST solution...

paint on a neck / fret board won't stay..cos you're playing it....

paint the headstock and you lose information : model...serial #

if you paint the pick guard...

simply remove the strings and then the pick guard, and then the pick ups..and sand a bit then claen w/ akhohol, then paint away....

i'd just spend the $20 on a new plate myself...GL
