Was the original Barbie "Queen of the Prom game" a white box?

I have an original 1960 Barbie "Queen of the Prom" board game that comes in a blue box. But my mom said she remembered it in white box when she was a kid. Was there a white one or is she just crazy? lol Cuz i looked everywhere and I can't find a white one. And if there is, a picture would be bonus too haha thanks!

The blue box has a caption to indicate both 1960 and 1961. There are also 1990's replicas of the blue 1961 edition. The white box edition image is uncaptioned.
I checked out the forum and "Doctor Apollo" posted that the white box is a rare 1963 2nd edition:

"This is much better than would perhaps first appear. The 1960 aqua box first ed. is almost like a prototype for the much rarer 1963 white box second ed. Some of the poorly written rules in the first ed. have been amended and special plastic components have been added, with actual friendship rings, club pins and barbie head movers. The 1963 money and cards however are smaller and perhaps not as nice as in the original; the gameboard in particular has faired poorly in the upgrade, with the wonderful pastel colors replaced by a drab offering in yellow & brown tones"
