Vintage pendants in heart shape are an all time hit among women. A man trying to impress his woman might very well gift her one of these and spend the rest of his life in peace. Vintage anniversary rings or wedding rings are ideal gifts for both men and women. Based on one's taste, one can go for the highly sophisticated and intricately designed Georgian vintage rings, or the more exquisite Edwardian, or better still the exuberant and the very flamboyant art deco vintage wedding rings.

These jewels are available at a variety of rates depending on where you are buying it from. It is always advised to get vintage brooches which carry a provenance certificate for the piece indicating its genuineness and a certificate from the gemologist for the stones studded in the piece. A dealer giving these certificates will of course be much heavier on the pocket than the pawn brokers or the flea markets.

How do I make the waist on my vintage pants larger?

I just bough a vintage pair of pants that have a 3" band/button section before the seam that includes the zipper. It looks like a built in 3" belt basically. The pants under the "belt" fit, but the "belt" part is too tight. How can I alter the belt part to make it fit? If I removed the belt part entirely the pants would never work, and would hold up.

You could try moving the buttons on the "belt" part closer to the edge to give you a little more room. I don't know how tight it is on you...I'll keep thinking for you though
I just thought of something else, if you remove the belt part and take it apart at the side seams and then sew a piece of another fabric (coordinating or contrasting) to the side seams of it, then sew it back to the pants...or if you use the belt part as a pattern and make another waistband for your pants out of fabric that coordinate with your pants.
