First time Halloween party and need help and ideas!?

I'm planning to throw a halloween party this year. This is my frist time throwing one so I'm absolutely clueless on what to do. There will be about 20-30 people, aged anywheres from 10-50. I need some food ideas, decoration ideas and maybe some games or things to do at the party! Any tips would be so appreciated!

okay so this is the best time to go to the dollar store!
food: of course chips and what not but get creative. make a green jellow and buy gummi worms and rats and eyes from the dollar store and place those inside. make a red punch with pineapple chunks and fruit. also, you can make fruit hand ice cubes, get a glove fill it with fruit and some fruit juice as full as you can then place the glove into the freazer then when it is done you can remove the glove and place the "ice cube" into your punch.

for decorations: get 50 gallon trash can bags and buy glow in the dark paint. splatter paint the bags with the glow in the dark paint and maybe an orange paint. let them dry and then hang them all over your house. you can also buy fake spider webbing and spiders. hang this off your trash bags and on the corners of your walls and counters. get fake blood and also use this on the stationary items of your house. it does not stain and is easy to remove.

also use dry ice (cheap) or a fog machine (more expensive) to make the eary effect you can also buy a strobe light and colored lights to put in the fog.
