I lost a huge piece of skin off of my knee and now I see a lot of white stuff should I get this checked out?

I was skateboarding and I scraped my knee on the street, a day later it started gushing out puss and a lot of white stuff is in the center. The wound is pretty big, like the size of four quarters.

Usually my wounds form scabs pretty fast but this one hasn't after 2 days. Is this anything serious or will it heal on it own?

Go to the emergency room, if it's gushing out pus then you've got an infection and those can get really serious really quickly.
