An anchor and a rose or an anchor and a sailor doll?

Im getting a tatt for my grandparents and im getting an anchor for my grandpa. should i get a rose with the stem going up the anchor, or a girl sailor doll sitting on the anchor for my grandma? any ideas will be put into consideration! and where should i have it put? my ribs? my hip? i dont want it on my back though. btw my grandma likes roses and dolls so thats why i chose those two. please help!

Well placement will depend on the size of your tattoo really, the more detailed it is the bigger it'll be, keep that in mind. Things that factor into placement are generally the tattoo itself and how it'll look and flow on that particular body part, whether or not its visible if it that may affect your job prospects and if you like it there. When you have you design print it out and place it around on your body and see where you like it the most, the tattoo artist themselves may have advice to give themselves.
