my best friend Samantha brought her grades up to all b's still not good enough for her mother so she sent in a letter to send her daughter to an all african american school where gangs linger and rape is high my friend has never been submitted to school of such that she is so scared. Isn't this wrong for the mother to do?

What a horrible thing to do to a child. Why would she want to put a child she loves in a dangerous situation? Hopeful they won't let her do such a thing. My husband was the only white child in an all black school years ago. It was a weird situation, but he says he did ok. It's the rapes and gangs that worry me. You can have the same in an all white school, but my goodness, what is she thinking? I would go and talk with my school counselor if I were her. Sounds abusive to me.
