what are good activities for school spirit?

My school's spirit day is coming up and I need some ideas for activities that the entire school could participate in.The people participating in activities should be grades 1-8 and all together should be about 200 kids.

Well. My school had a huge dodgeball tournament one year. It was soo much fun. It was in the middle of a school pep rally, and anyone who wanted to play was welcome to play. Or another idea is you could simply have a contest to see which grade dresses up the most spirited in your school colors, and which ever grade wins will get to go on a field trip to the park or the movies. Or to make it free, whatever grade wins, you can have a movie and game day all day during school. I think it would work!
