White House: Tightens Cyberspace Security System

The White House is hoping to come up with a complete strategy to protect people in the cyberspace more strongly and effectively and is asking the public to extend help for the same.

The government has released a draft of the potential new National Strategy for Trusted Identities in the Cyberspace, where it has been noted that the government is aiming to create a system that would allow people voluntarily generate trusted identities for themselves that can be used in online transactions.

The goal, as described by White House cyber security chief, Howard Schmidt, "is to secure and protect transactions in cyberspace through use of a special ID--a smart card or digital certificate--that would prove that people are who they say they are." The digital IDs for financial transactions would be offered by online vendors to the consumers.

To encourage and scout opinions and suggestions from public, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has launched a Website. The government with its plans to finalize its strategy, later this fall is expecting to collect comments at the created website by July 19.

According to Schmidt, "The initial draft of the NSTIC was created with input from key government agencies, business leaders, and privacy advocates in response to one of the action items in President Obama's Cyberspace Policy Review."

He also added "With online consumers and companies grappling with fraud and identity theft, the administration wants an "identity ecosystem" in which people can feel safe and secure, as they conduct business over the Internet."

Why do white people dislike smart black people like Farrakhan but they like dumb rappers like Snoop Dog?

I think white people are intimidated by smart black people. They are comfortable with dumb rappers because they figure most rappers will only commit black on black crimes. So, they dont mind them being in power. If a rapper came out rapping about white people having thinner skin that wrinkles faster than blacks(which is just the truth), whites wouldn't support them but if a rapper is rapping about black on black crime, whites seem to not have a problem with that. Why? I think it's because white people are comfortable with blacks killing eachother.

Uh... sorry, not all whites are into that. You're the person pulling the race card here, you know that? Black people support dumb rappers just as much as white people do. In fact, all people do that. The country is pretty much populated by people who are considered "dumb" so it would be no suprised that they would indeed, like well... other "dumb" people. I'm white, and I'd way rather have a conversation with a smart black person than a dumb black person. Of course, I don't care what race the person is. I just want to talk to someone who's not stupid for a change. And, your theory, which isn't very convincing, and is really just trying to stir up racial conflict, probably makes you just as "dumb" as the people that support the dumber people. Thanks for looking like an idiot.
