Costume help?

hi!
my friend is having a costume party next week, and we all have to dress up as a character from a book. I'm going as ginny weasley from harry potter, coz i'm a redhead anyway and... well... come on, she gets to make out with daniel radcliffe lol.
so here's what i've managed to put together:

the thing is i can't find half of that stuff in shops - seeing as it isn't anywhere near halloween - i don't have a credit card, so i can't order these online, besides, there isn't enough time.
I already have a wand, a school skirt, socks (obviously) and shoes. I'll also get my brother's old school jumper, it looks exactly right, and the tie as well. And i already have a schoolbag.
Does anyone know how I can get robes? I could make them myself, but i dunno how to.
And does anyone know how to cheat on knitting a scarf? I dunno how to knit, maybe some tips involving an old jumper or something? =)
And what should I do with my hair?

I would wear my hair in waves. Scarves are really easy to find you could buy one or have someone knit one. I don't really know any cheats because I've never knitted. You could find orange and red fabric and sew them together in stripes like one orange section the one red section. Or if you had a red piece of fabric you could sew the orange on top of it like in the picture. I'm not sure where you could get robes so sorry. Maybe if you had an old witch costume or someone you know did?
