Doll makers, what is the best way to stuff a doll?

What are your tips for stuffing soft sculpture figures? What tools or stuffing brands do you use to get a smooth, bump free surface? What stuffing product have you found that doesn't "bleed" through the fabric or bunch and shift? What are your tricks of the trade? I want perfectly stuffed dolls, please help, How do you fill the tiny places on tiny dolls or in the hands, etc.? Thanks...O

I have been doing doll repair for a long time, I often buy the older teddy bears cut them up remove the stuffing which is a cotton batting, also lambs wool works well too. The pillow stuffing is what many newer dolls are stuffed with and they really need a small bead sack inside to give them weight to hold the doll on the ground. I use chop sticks to do all of my stuffing and I do use small pieces at a time, then when its stuffed I knead the outside to make it smooth. Hope this helps
