STL Summertime Activities Near Your New Home

We understand that purchasing a home is a big deal; the process can be straining on your pocketbook and your sanity. We at Fischer and Frichtel appreciate not only your business, but also your friendships and enjoy lending a hand to keep our customers happy. We want to help you remain relaxed this summer by providing you with a quick guide to budget-friendly family activities right here in St. Louis.

Forest Park

From the moment you step into Forest Park, you are provided with countless options that the entire family will enjoy. St. Louis' Forest Park is home to the St. Louis Zoo, World's Fair Pavilion, St. Louis History Museum, St. Louis Art Museum and so much more! If you are feeling the desire to be a bit more active your family can also enjoy: golf, biking and running trails or even a nice boat ride on the lake. Most activities in Forest Park offer free admission.

Downtown

St. Louis hosts a great downtown community that features the St. Louis Arch and Busch Stadium, home to the St. Louis Cardinals. Visitors can tour the Stadium and the Arch throughout the week. You can stroll through City Garden or take a day trip to the City Museum, which is just as fun for parents as it is for the kids. The downtown area is the perfect choice when you are searching for something just a little bit different.

Greater St. Louis Area

Dispersed evenly throughout the Greater St. Louis area—and away from the hustle and bustle of the city—are options such as the nearby Butterfly House in Chesterfield, Mo. Grant's Farm and the Anheuser-Bush Brewery are both located in South St. Louis and are exciting experiences for first-time visitors. Neighboring counties like St. Louis and St. Charles counties provide additional museum and park options, ensuring you will never run out of fun, budget-friendly things to do.

Whether you are new to the St. Louis area or just new to your Fischer and Frichtel community, St. Louis offers plenty of activities to help you relax and enjoy your new home. We know moving can be stressful, but it's time to take a load off and get out there to enjoy the beautiful weather and have some fun!
