Cleaning a My Child Doll ?

how ive just found at a market a my child doll and was hoping someone could tell me how to safely clean this doll as there made from a soft sued type all over fabric.. she has faint pen mark on her face id like to remove, also some grubby marks over her body, she says surface washable but how do i do this without ruining fabric, these dolls r highly collectable so dont want to risk ruining her!.. her tag says do not dry clean either ok! thanx all
