You could buy paper dolls with matching outfits and different facial expressions to choose from to layer over your paper doll. There were only a few popular brand names back then, the most popular being Barbie paper dolls. The only problem with that nostalgic play era, was the tabs usually ripped at some point, so your paper dolls didn't last too long.

Of course, girls back then also had their fun with Barbie dolls. Girls would spend hours searching for the perfect dress or gown to dress up their Barbie with. * Internet dress-up games – There are some websites in which you can play a dress-up game online. Some of the games involve a much larger choice to work with. You can play kids dress up dolls, or even decorate their houses. Some of the houses can be decorated inside and out, so you can create the scene for your dress up dolls to hang out in. You can also add accessories to dress up your dolls, such as jewelry, makeup, and much more.

* Dress-up Themes – Many websites offer themes you can choose from, such as wedding, birthday party, beach party or special events. And you can dress up so much more than just dolls. You can make ice cream sundaes, or background scenery. Dress up dolls has gone to a whole new level.

With all these choices to pick from, it's easy to play kids dress up dolls for hours online. But some things are never the same on the internet. What happened to the good old fashioned fun of getting out your dolls and dressing them in cute little outfits? You had the added pleasure of saving up your money to buy outfits and accessories for your dolls, so it felt like a real accomplishment. Sometimes it feels good to go back in time, even if only for a little while.

Throwing a 7th birthday party for my little sister, fun party suggestions?

I am throwing a party next weekend for my sister who will turn 7 tomorrow. So far, 2 of the 7 girls that we invited are coming (along with 2 of her girl cousins who are also 7).
((Incase your wondering, mom has a tumor, just had surgery tomorrow, My little brother turns 8 on Wednesday, and she threw him a party last week...but my sister needs a celebration too - just trying to help out))..

The party is on saturday april 28th from 12-4pm.
So far I know that we are going to do the following:
1. Have pizza,
2. pin the tale on the donkey(i know its corney but theres a nice 3. prize involved),
4. A pinyatta(i SO did not spell that right...the thing you hit and the candy comes out)
5. make your own ice cream sundae(which my sister wanted instead of cake)

What else can I do with 7 year old girls? I was thinking about having some makeup/nail polish and letting the girls get all dolled up but my sister isnt really into girley stuff like that (she has 2 brothers)

Umm, what you have so far seems really fun. You can also have them play musical chairs. It always gets a party started! Good luck and I hope she has a happy pappy birthday!
