BEST CITY IN OZ for outdoor,family living with lots of sunshine!?

Hi,
We are considering a move to OZ from the UK.My husband works in I.T and we have two boys.We want a sleek,clean,contemporary/ modern city (not brash and tacky) with lots of outdoorsy things to do in and out of the city and a young cool vibe and culture.My eldest son lives for skateboarding, youngest into arts.The weather needs to be SUNNY,SUNNY,SUNNY and pref not too humid.Does this place exist ?- or am i just living in the clouds!!

The guys up north may disagree but the answer is MELBOURNE!
I have traveled the world and spent time in some of the greatest cities but none compare with Melbourne. I'm talking about liveability and amenity. Melbourne is the Garden City in the Garden State. There are beautiful parks everywhere and bike tracks all over. Melbournians are sport mad and every conceivable sport is catered for. It's a diners paradise with fabulous cafes everywhere and restaurants with every Cuisine available. Now I know the contentious issue will be the sunshine! Melbourne has more sunny days per year than Sydney and hardly any humidity. It's a fabulous climate with a very mild winter and a long warm summer with a few very hot days thrown in. Do yourselves a big big favor and take the time to check out charming liveable Melbourne. Oh and by the way, it's the fashion capital of Australia and the cultural capital if you like the Arts. It's got everything!
