The fact is, that if you train correctly.... if you learn correct technique.... Your voice will improve all the time. You will find it easier and easier to control your voice. Your tone will get better and better. Your vocal range will increase until.....

......There are no higher notes left!

Well, maybe not that extreme! But you can add an octave to your range, just by adapting your technique. Easily.

The majority of vocal instruction actually encourages the muscles outside the larynx to become involved in the singing process. These muscles are supposed to be used for swallowing and swallowing only. When they become involved in the singing process, problems happen. These muscles 'choke' the muscles inside the larynx... the ones that are supposed to do all the work when you sing.

By doing vocal excersises that train only the muscles inside the larynx, your singing will improve dramatically. These inner muscles, once trained, will give you the vocal range of your dreams. I am still in disbelief of the amazingly high notes I can hit, with absolutely no vocal tension. In fact, when you know how, singing is as easy as talking.

The speech level singing method is the best way to learn this technique. The exercises focus on strengthening these inner larynx muscles. They also have the in-built function of relaxing the tension-causing outer muscles of the larynx.

The vocal excersises in the speech level singing method are very easy. Common sounds that we already do everyday. Yet they are amazingly effective at training the voice. Once again, this is because they target, and train the correct singing muscles.

The process is so easy that you will actually think that you're being tricked into singing correctly! This is exactly how I felt when I started speech level singing.

The fact is, singing is actually a very easy process. Unfortunately it is misunderstood by many vocal instructors, who complicate matters with their confusing instructions.
