I need advice about matching blinds and curtains to my new living room paint?

I am painting my living room light brown, ivory trim, my furniture is light brown suede, I have a rug that has multiple squares that are different colors dark green, light brown, dark brown, and a khaki color.

Great colours! You have lots of choices here. If your accent tables are lighter in colour, I would suggest a darker colour for your curtains to ground the look and tie it all in..maybe a darker brown or khaki colour would be great. If your accent tables are darker in colour, you can go anywhere with the curtain colour...a light brown similar to the walls...an ivory textured linen (my personal favourite)..khaki...any of the colours in your rug would work great. I would try to pick a textured material (all one colour) that will pick up the squares in your rug to unify/tie all in together. There are lots of different fabrics out there that are inexpensive to purchase.
