I like to curl my hair every day, but it is damaged from curling iron; are velvet-covered hot rollers better?

I hate my hair straight because it just sits there, so I curl my hair probably about 3 times a week. But since I also dye it, it's very damaged. Are velvet-covered hot rollers less damaging to your hair? I used my aunt's set and the curls came out pretty nice. Thank you for your help.

yes they are less damaging if your
curling iron didnt have cermanic or
other types of things that protect your
hair from heat damage.

but any heat to your hair is going to be
damaging. i suggest looking for alternatives
to using heat.
