Why was this question removed I can think of no reason?

Of all questions I ever had removed I do not understand this one!

I asked, "Are there any lenses for Canon (EOS) that are made in Germany?"

Then I added that I very much like my vintage Zeiss lenses but I notice the new Zeiss for the EF mount digital camera are made in Japan not in Germany like the Zeiss Jena lenses I have and love. I do not understand this? Does this mean I has a troll on me? I thought of making my Q&A private but I do not like to do that it at all.
