Alkaline Water for Better Health

There has been much discussion over the past few years about the quality of the water we drink and the effects that this may have on our health. Many experts on health think that the poor quality of tap water in the across the word could cause health concerns, especially if we relied on it for our recommended wight glasses a day.

As a result, millions have turned to bottled water - creating a $3.5 billion market in just one generation. The price of living is increasing and the issue of quality products is very doubtful. (is it really any better than tap water) People now are seeking to improve the quality the water that comes into their homes.

Water is one of the most important factors when becoming and staying healthy and vibrant. Our bodies are 70% water and our blood is 94% water - if we follow the recommendation to drink at least eight glasses of water per day and this water is acid and polluted - imagine what this will do to our bodies??

A great portion of our ingested nutritional items create acid, as such drinking basic water is a necessity to keep clean. more acidic is a hotbed of microorganisms, bacteria and viruses.

Alkalizing water also acts as a conductor of electrochemical activity from cell to cell. On a daily basis you should consume between 3-4 liters of water with it having a ph in the range of 9-10. More thirst for water is developed, if you have hydrated your body properly. Food cravings are often the body's cry for water. You may have already aquired more of a thirst than had occured to you.

Water Ionisers

It is ionised water. (electrically improved) by running it over positive and negative electrodes. It separates the liquid from one into a part alkaline and a part acid. (70%) and acidic (30%). This is exceptionally beneficial as the alkaline water is then used for drinking, while the acidic water can be used on the outside of the body as it is proven to kill many types of bacteria.

The quality of ionised water is reputed to surpass water from any other source. For instance, ionised water is the only type of water that has a low surface tension which allows for greater absorption of water and nutrients into the body.

This is an incredibly useful benefit which is unique to this type of machine.

Reverse Osmosis Water Filters

Reverse Osmosis utilises a fine membrane to filter water - known as hyperfiltration. This makes the removal of, salts, sugars, bacteria, proteins, dyes, particles, and other harmful components possible.

A semi-permeable membrane is used in reverse osmosis. This allows the water to pass through whilst the contaminants are removed.

Reverse osmosis units can use between 2-3 gallons of water to make 1 gallon up to as much as 10 gallons of water or more, to make 1 gallon of pure water.

Water purified by reverse osmosis is less acidic than tap or bottled water.

Can I drink the water in Peru?

Im going to be there for a couple weeks. If I cant drink the water, can I get one of those water bottles with a filter? Wilk that make it clean enough?

I would only drink bottled water (and when I traveled in Peru that's what I DID drink.) I understand the reluctance to drink loads of bottled water because of the plastic impact. But you are taking your chances with your digestive well being.
