Creating Your Own Baby Shower Gift Set

One of the best parties to ever attend to is a baby shower. It also comes with one of the worst dilemmas one is likely to have is what gift are you supposed to take with you. Like most of those baby showers, everyone ends up giving the same things over and over again. They either give diapers, baby powders, blankets, baby bed sheets, towels and sleepers.

Why not give a gift that is way outside that "circle" of tradition? Why not try creating a baby shower gift set that is filled with the baby necessities that other people would not be able to think of at once? Try your hand out with different items for both the baby and mother that are useful and fun!

All that you have to do is purchase a wicker basket. Its size will be wholly dependent on how detailed you want your gift sets would be. Just remember t put a lot of oddities on the gift set along with the other items to add to the fun! In choosing your basket, make sure that it is something that can again be used by the mom – to –be after the gifts are removed.

Assemble all the precious treasures that you wish to use for the gift sets. Do not limit yourself to all those traditional baby stuff like diapers and others, though, it would also be alright if you do decide to put some. Concentrate on what other items the baby needs like brushes, diaper ointment, extra nipples, digital thermometers and the like. These are the usual items that the new parents forget to buy. They will really be grateful once they receive your gift set!

Now, do not forget to buy something for the newest mom in town! Think about getting her a personalized cup that says "super Mom". Then, look for a magazine that gives ideas on parenting tips and place it along with your gift set. Use your wild imagination to show her that you are very fond of her and wishes her all the best.

Put a doll or stuffed toy in the middle of your wicker basket. Start arranging all the other treats around the basket in whatever design you want then add bows and ribbons!

In my dream our baby becomes a doll?

I had a dream last night that I unexpectedly (almost instantly) gave birth to a baby boy. He didn't look like either of us but had a HUGE smile and giggled constantly. We were both ecstatic. I asked my fiance, "We didn't buy a bed for him, where should he sleep?" My fiance said "It's okay, I know what to do." While I breastfed him (which felt completely normal) my fiance made a makeshift bassinet out of a wicker laundry basket, pillows & receiving blankets. I pat the baby's back gently and put him in the basket, after a while he started to cry. When i went to check his diaper - his body was made out of cloth (like a doll) and his legs were plastic. I woke up feeling panicked.

What does this mean?

Dreams are our bodies way of relieving stress. That includes good dreams. bad dreams. weird dreams and just flat out panicky ones.

You are engaged, getting ready to start the rest of your life with this man, and probably planning sooner or later to expand your family. it is not unusual that your brain (even subconsciously) is thinking about these things.

~side note~ in your dream you felt confident in your fiances' ability to help in this situation... =)

~side note~ don't worry about the baby morphing into a doll... dreams take weird turns all the time. probably your conscious mind trying to make sense of a baby when your not even pregnant.
